First of all… This book was wonderfully and unapologetically grotesque, a mesmerizing journey that delves deep into the shadows of the human experience. I was instantly pulled into the sheer darkness of the plot, captivated by the intricate layers of emotion and raw energy. It isn’t just another monster themed smut book; it rises above the genre to deliver a profound narrative that explores the impact of enduring trauma, grappling with pain, and confronting the depths of loneliness. The characters are not merely figments of imagination but intensely relatable figures who navigate through obsession and the all consuming feminine rage that seems to burn on every page. Each page unveils a new facet of struggle and resilience, making it a haunting yet beautiful reflection on the complexities of life and the battles we face within ourselves.

If you’re reading this for a sweeping romantic love story, this is not the book for you. It is depravity incarnate, a raw exploration of the darker sides of love and desire. The emotions are utterly obsessive, pulling you into a world where passion knows no bounds and the line between love and obsession blurs dangerously. She had a clear vision of her target audience and expertly tailored her narrative to engage them fully. I devoured this book in a matter of hours, unable to put it down. I’m hoping there’s room for a book 2 so I can devour that one as well!
